Thanks to our protests over the summer, we were able to force UNFI back to the bargaining table to negotiate our next contract at Shoppers. But we’re not out of the woods yet.
After several meetings with UNFI representatives, talks are continuing to drag on. This process has already taken too many years while many of us have gone without raises and the company is refusing to pay what they owe to our healthcare and pension funds, putting our benefits at risk.
To get the fair contract we have earned, we have to keep the pressure on. We have more actions scheduled over the next few weeks. Join us at an upcoming protest near you:
