Based on our contract surveys and meetings with members, we have clear goals for our next contract:
- Bringing all union stores under one contract
- Better pay
- Better schedules and more hours for part-timers
- Better health care, vision and dental benefits
- More paid time off, including paid sick leave and more vacation time
- Better safety measures in stores
We have met with representatives from Kroger and negotiations are just getting started. We are still early in the process and there is much more to come. As we move forward, we will invite you to take action with us to keep the pressure on Kroger to negotiate a fair deal. If you see one of us in your store, don’t hesitate to talk to us, ask us questions, or make suggestions. We want to hear from you. We need your ideas and we need your participation to succeed.
The only way we will win a better contract is if we all stand united, stay informed, and take action together. We must show Kroger that we are united for a better contract. We’re ready to fight for what we deserve, and we need you to be ready too. Let’s do this!
