We are aware that many Kroger pharmacy techs working under our West Virginia contract have experienced cuts in hours and inappropriate assignments to perform store duties outside of the pharmacy.
Some pharmacy techs are seeing a reduction in hours due to the introduction of Central Fill replacing their workload. Others are being asked to perform duties elsewhere in the store.
These are violations of your union contract and we are working to resolve the issue with Kroger. We have filed class action grievances against Kroger for both violations.

While we work through the grievance procedure, if you are asked to perform duties outside of your role as a pharmacy tech, do as instructed and then work with your union representative to file a grievance.
