Negotiations on our next union contract with Kroger began this week. Our bargaining advisory met with company representatives and presented them with our goals for a new contract:
- Fair Pay
- Affordable Health Care
- Paid Sick Days
- Schedules That Work
We have now been working through a pandemic for over two years. We risk our lives and the health of our families every day to keep our stores open and serve our customers. Thanks to our sacrifices, Kroger has made billions in profits. It is time for us to get our fair share.
In the past, when the company was struggling, we have taken cuts. Now when the company is thriving, it is only fair that we get rewarded. We are ready to fight for a contract that reflects the prosperity of this company and rewards those of us who make it possible.
