This week, we had our first meeting with Kroger to kickoff contract negotiations. We presented our goals and made it clear we are working toward winning our best contract in years. Our goals are:
- Real Raises that Overcome Inflation
- Preserve Health & Welfare Benefits
- More Paid Time Off
- Better Hours & Scheduling
- A Safe Workplace
We are still early in the process and there is much more to come. As we move forward, we will keep you informed every step of the way.
In the meantime, we need your help. One of our top priorities is working to address the threat of gun violence in our stores. There’s an average of one gun violence incident in an American grocery store every two days, and we are calling on Kroger to do more to keep us safe and ensure everyone makes it home from work.
Help us show Kroger how important safety is to you and your coworkers. Please take a moment to fill out our survey on gun violence and safety in the workplace.
